Every so often I am asked about what shafts, irons or training items are ones that I think make sense.

Here is the list.  It is not long and certainly doesn’t mean there aren’t other quality products.

GRAPHITE DESIGN manufactures tour quality graphite shafts.  These shafts are being used worldwide on the various pro tours.  These shafts have provided tour wins around the world. Their new shaft will be seen in some top players clubs at the 2010 Masters.  Every one who I’ve  installed an after market shaft for has been surprised in the difference in the performance and feel.  Their customer service has always been 10 stars.  The website is www.gdintl.com

KBS manufactures a full line of steel shafts for both irons and hybrids.  These shafts are also being used world wide by multiple major and tours champions.   I’ve found these shafts to be extremely solid with a very tight dispersion.  They come in various weights .  The website is www.kbsshafts.com

PURE SOLID PERFECT GOLF manufactures a totally unique practice club.  It is a traditional length 7 iron.  The club head is literally a sweet spot on  a stick.  Without proper tempo and proper sequential motion a flushly hit shot  won’t be achieved.  If creating a pure impact position is important to you  get this club.  I was so impressed I purchased one on the spot at the PGA show in Orlando.  www.pspgolf.net

TRADITIONAL GOLF EQUIPMENT is a boutique shop of custom made irons and woods.  If you are looking for a set of custom forged irons look no further.  I met the owner at the PGA show  and decided to get a set.  Mark, the owner, from a hand drawn picture I sent him had one of his models ground exactly as I asked.  Te approximate 6 weeks were worth every second.  The irons are forged and finished in Japan.  These irons have are now first string.  The long irons are the easiest to hit that I have played with.  www.traditionalgolf.com
